Machu Picchu ( "Old Mountain" in Quechua language, often also called "the lost Inca City") is a location pre-Inca ruins of Columbus located in the mountainous region at an altitude of about 2350 m above sea level. Machu Picchu is above the Urubamba valley in Peru, about 70 km northwest of Cusco.

Inca is a symbol of the most famous. Built in about 1450, but abandoned a hundred years later, when the Spanish conquered the Inca.
This site had forgotten by the international world, but not by the local community. This site re-discovered by archaeologists from Yale University Hiram Bingham III discovered it back in tahun1911. Since then, Machu Picchu became an attractive tourist objects for local and foreign tourists.

Machu Picchu was built in the style of the ancient Incan walls with polished stones. The main building is Intihuatana, Temple of the Sun, and Three Window Room. This places referred to as the Sacred District of Machu Picchu.

The site has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983, Machu Picchu is also one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, also received attention
